procedur (v.1) began on Substack in January 2025, evolving from an earlier framework I created called ORA (Ordinary Radical Acts) for my twenty-hour lecture series How to Live: As a Multidimensional Being (2024).procedur is a triangulation built to pressure-test how artists, myself included, work with time. I translate collective psychic data into 'procedurs' that tilt creativity sideways to press personal evolution into risk. procedurs range from conceptual experiments, avant-garde tactics of media and technology use to applied gestures of art-making. Each issue includes a curated selection of featured works, positioned in relation to that month's psychic condition. Alongside the text, I curate an 8 song playlist with each track embedded as a "pink link" in the issue itself. Each pink link enters into dialogue with the sentence it lives in, the chosen song, and the tone of the pieces around it, extending the experience into another register of time. procedur (v.2) is made in collaboration with a 'fool reportr,' currently Kerryn Lyes. The psychic material and the draft for each issue originate with me, nyoka.now, before any outside input. The fool reportr works in parallel, submitting independently arrived at impressions, images, and songs one week before the issue releases. Correspondence between the two bodies of material is then assessed for commonalities.
